Asian Hate

According to the Southern Poverty Law Center, there were 11,000 hate crimes against Asians from March 2020 - December 2021. And in February 2022, ABC News reported that according to the Center for Study of Hate and Extremism, there was a 339% increase in Asian hate crimes over the past year.

In my book, I touch upon just a small portion of the Chinese Exclusion Act of 1882 which directly impacted my family. There was so much more that I wrote which could not fit into "Dancing in Their Light". So lest we forget what the Chinese endured in this country's quest to eradicate us, I thought it was important to share some of the ads and propaganda that were used to instill fear and hate for the Chinese in the United States.
