Comparing me to Mick Jagger

Since “Dancing in Their Light” was published last March 2022, I have been invited to talk about my book, the writing process, discoveries, and what resonates so clearly with readers and historians.

I don’t think I’ve ever received a compliment such as this one from Victor Turks who attended my March 30th talk at the Mechanics’ Institute in San Francisco. Mr. Turks wrote, “Natural beauty is so delightful. Your gift for making people feel at home and comfortable in your presence is something Mike Jagger has, too. And boy, can he put on a floor show.”
